Our society puts A LOT of emphasis on external beauty.  While I don’t think there is anything wrong with caring about your appearance, I think we’ve come to believe that we our value is dependant on how we look.  We work so hard (and spend SO much money) to look beautiful, but how much time do we spend being beautiful?  The women I admire the most are those that are humble, unassuming, charitable, kind, selfless and confident – regardless of how they look.
