Movara Fitness Resort Policies

Our Fitness Resort

Our program runs one week, Sunday to Sunday.

    • Check-in:  Sundays from 1:00 – 4:00pm
    • Check-out:  Sundays at 10.00am

 

Tours of the Resort

Tours of our fitness resort are available at 12:30 p.m., Monday – Saturday. For the privacy of our guests, we cannot accommodate tours at any other time. To sign-up for a tour of our property, send an email to reservations@movara.com.

 

Roommate Policy

Movara will pair two individuals of the same-sex together under the following conditions:

  • Movara is not responsible for any issues that arise from personality problems, snoring, smelling, lack of sharing, up too late or early, etc. If either party cannot tolerate completing the week, the dissatisfied party will have the options of either finishing the week under the circumstances the best they can or pay the upgraded rate for a private accommodation.
  • If you, by some reason have obtained a room by yourself at a double rate (which happens rarely) and we need to move someone in during the course of the week for any reason, Movara may do so.

Reservation Deposit & Balance

A $200 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. The current rates are available through the reservations page or you can call the Reservations Team at 888-870-2639

for more details. The balance of your reservation is due two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival. Accepted payment methods include: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Cash, Check and money order.

 

Multi-week rate policy

Special multi-week pricing is available. These weeks can be spread out over 12 months (i.e. they do not have to be consecutive). Please call the Reservations Team at 888-870-2639 or send an email to reservations@movara.com

 

Reservation cancellation policy

If you have to cancel or reschedule, we will hold your balance as credit on file for a period of one year to accommodate you for a future stay at our resort. A $300 per week rescheduling fee will be applied if you reschedule withing two weeks of your stay. As a resort policy, we do not accept cancellations via email. You are required to call the Reservations Team at 888-870-2639
to request a cancellation or reschedule of your stay.

 

Spa & Salon Services Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your spa appointment with less than 12 hours’ notice, you will be charged in full for the spa service/treatment. If you provide more than 12 hours’ notice, you will avoid being charged. To reschedule or cancel a spa appointment, please contact the spa directly.

 

Pet Policy

We love animals, however, to serve the needs of all of our guests we only welcome animals that are ADA Approved and have been trained to perform ADA compliance requirements. The ADA does not recognize animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support. Please contact us for further information.

 

No Smoking Policy

Movara wellness resort is proud to offer smoke-free guest rooms and facilities. Smoking anywhere on the premises or in the guest rooms is strictly prohibited. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who is found in violation of this policy in his or her guest room.

 

Teens & Children

Our program welcomes teens between the ages of 14-17 when accompanied by an adult (18 & up) to all activities. Our weight loss resort does not provide daycare services, nor are children under the age of 14 allowed to stay in our accommodations or explore the facility without a responsible chaperone.
