Meet Our Nutrition Team
If you’ve been to Movara before, we don’t need to tell you how good the food is, and our Executive Chef Doug Gerpheide is the reason why! He’s a graduate of the Western Culinary Institute in Portland and loves what he does. He has run several prestigious kitchens, and now, after embarking on his own health journey, Doug is ready to help our guests discover how delicious healthy eating can be.
Janette has run restaurants in California and Montana, and worked at vineyards in Sonoma County. Janette is excited to help teach everyone at Movara about healthy eating. (As a metal-working artist too, there’s a chance she made both your food AND the beautiful jewelry she’s wearing!)
Dining Room Manager
Melissa is a Holistic Nutritionist who takes an evidence-based approach to nutrition and weight management. Her approach allows the body to naturally achieve its ideal weight, while you feel renewed energy and vitality. We do not have to give up the foods we love! It’s all about balance.
