Movara Recipe: Chicken Parmesan

Chicken Parmesan Serves 5


5 – 4 oz chicken breasts, trimmed and fat remove
2 ½ T grapeseed oil
½ cup gluten free bread crumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 ½ ounce Asiago shredded
2 T parsley flakes
½ tsp sea salt

½ tsp black pepper
1 cup egg whites
5 ounces marinara
5 ounces mozzarella
1 T parsley, chopped


Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. With a large sauté pan heat on medium heat. Mix the breading mix in a mixing bowl. Add the chicken to it and let the breading stick to it. Add the oil to the sauté pan and sauté until golden on both sides. Place the chicken on a sheet pan and bake for 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked. When chicken is almost done. Use a small hot sauté pan and add marinara to it. Cook until it?s hot. Add 1 ounce of marina to each chicken breast, then top with 1 ounce of low fat mozzarella. Place back into the oven until the cheese melts.- Serve with 1 cup roasted vegetables, a ½ cup spaghetti squash.
