Healthy Trail Mix

It’s National Trail Mix Day! Try this great recipe for a healthier version of trail mix! There might not be any M&Ms in there, but if you can find some dark choclate chunks, they are perfect. The dried cherries also add a bit of sweetness to it! Also, if you have never tried dried edamame, don’t be shy! Most of the time they come lightly salted and taste great. They are also a great source of protein and Omega 3.

Here is what you will need: 
1 cup walnuts
1 cup pecans
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup dried cherries
1 cup roasted edamame
1 cup dark chocolate chips/chunks 
Mix ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.  Enjoy!
